Volunteers Needed for Game of Life Event

Vine Middle Magnet School is excited to invite you to volunteer for our upcoming "Game of Life" event for 8th-grade students on Wednesday, May 15th. This engaging and interactive experience is designed to equip students with essential financial literacy skills through simulated real-world scenarios.
What is the Game of Life?
During the event, students will step into the shoes of young adults navigating life after high school. Each student will be assigned a career, salary, and life scenario, reflecting the diverse range of possibilities they may encounter. Through various stations, students will make financial decisions and purchases, experiencing the challenges and rewards of budgeting firsthand.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
As a volunteer, your tasks may include:
- Assisting students at different stations, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Providing financial coaching to students who require assistance managing their budgets.
- Facilitating discussions and reflections to reinforce key learnings from the simulation.
Training Session:
To ensure you're well-prepared for your role, a training session will be held from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM on the day of the event. This session will provide you with the necessary information and guidance to fulfill your responsibilities as a volunteer.
