Muse Knoxville has field trip students on-site most days of the week! Volunteers are needed to help our field trip students, teachers, and chaperones have the best experience during their time at Muse. Volunteers will help ensure that students are being safe, using their walking feet, and being respectful of younger guests on the exhibit floor. Volunteers will also help students line up to rotate between the classroom, planetarium, and exhibit floor. They will also help keep our exhibit floor spaces safe and clean, pick up toys, reset exhibit areas, and interact with the field trip students during their time exploring and playing on the exhibit floor. Please look over the following requirements to be sure you are eligible for a volunteer role.
Requirements:
Be at least 16 years old (if under the age of 16, an adult must accompany you during your shift)
Be friendly and enthusiastic
Enjoy interacting with children
Have not been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor in the last 5 years
*Please note: Muse Knoxville has a volunteer no-show policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled shift 3 times, you are no longer able to volunteer with Muse. We understand that unforeseen circumstances do come up. If you are no longer able to attend your scheduled shift, please unregister from the opportunity and/or email Shelby Cornell -shelby@themuseknoxville.org. Thank you!
