Are you a people person? When someone calls, do they hear a smile in your voice? When someone comes through the door, do they get friendly vibes from you? Spark is a small nonprofit, and we need volunteers to serve at our front desk between 9 a.m. and noon weekdays.
Spark provides equipment to people who have mobility issues, services to individuals with low and no vision, and innovation to people with disabilities who can't find what they need anywhere else. We also get in donations of equipment like wheelchairs and walkers and shower chairs. The volunteer will greet visitors, answer phones and transfer calls to office staff; there's no heavy lifting! Our building is temperature-controlled and handicapped-accessible, and the staff is friendly and encouraging. If you're interested in volunteering a day or two a week, please contact us!
