From the ground to the gutters, the Dogwood Arts House & Garden Show has something for everyone. This show is the largest annual fundraiser for Dogwood Arts and it simply couldn't happen without the help from awesome Volunteers just like you! All volunteers will get a free volunteer t-shirt and free entry into the show before or after your shift. We encourage you to wear your volunteer shift during your shift, if possible.
The floor at the convention center is concrete so you will want to wear comfortable shoes. The temperature can fluctuate depending on where you are in the building so we strongly suggest you dress in layers. If you need to sit during your shift or if there is a specific place you would really like to be placed, please place that info in the Notes sections and we will do our best when scheduling everyone. If there is a person you want to be placed with when volunteering then just put their name in the Volunteer Buddy spot and have them put your name in that spot and it will let us know that you want to be together.
**Any volunteers for Thursday, 02/06/2025 need to be prepared to lift and move items. This will be set up for the show and there can be heavier items that will be needed to be moved. Also, Volunteers for the shift on 02/09/25 that starts at 4:30 pm need to be able to be mobile and move items as this shift is during breakdown. All the other shifts, we are able to make accommodations such as seating during your shift. We just want to make sure that every is aware that during SET UP and BREAKDOWN the volunteers shifts are more physical. **

Find unique art, jewelry, and handmade products from local and regional artists at the Maker Market. On the How-to Stage, local experts and tastemakers will provide DIY demonstrations, tips on real estate trends, cooking, home improvement, gardening, and much more. The ORNL FCU Creation Station has art activities, character meet & greets, and entertainment for kids of all ages.
