We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to support the Race for Hope, an event focused on raising awareness and hope in the fight against suicide, benefitting East Tennessee's 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Center.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Set-Up Team: Assist with preparing the event by setting up tables, transporting items, marking the course, and ensuring the venue is race-ready.
- Race Day Check-In: Distribute race packages, including shirts, bibs, and safety pins, and ensure participants are ready to start.
- Hydration Team: Staff the water station along the course, handing out water and cheering on participants.
- Course Support: Position yourself along the route to keep runners on track and offer words of encouragement.
- Finish-Line Volunteers: Greet runners as they cross the finish line, direct them to refreshments and resources, assist with the award ceremony, and help with post-race clean-up.
Whether you're looking to lend a hand for an hour or the entire event, your time and energy will make a difference. Ready to join the team? Sign up to volunteer here:
