Nourish Knoxville is looking for volunteers for our Wednesday & Saturday Market Square Farmers Market. Volunteers may assist with:
- Setting up/breaking down the Information Booth
- Conducting crowd counts
- Processing SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) and Double Up Food Bucks (SNAP matching program) transactions
- Assisting customers with our sustainability programs
- Assisting with our Nourish Kids children's activities (second Saturdays)
- Assisting with our Nourish Moves walking program (Wednesdays)
Typical volunteer shift times by market (scheduling subject to availability):
- Wednesdays, May - October: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Saturdays, May - October: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- Saturdays, November - March, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
