Sign up to attend Community Emergency Response Training July 7 at 6:30 PM.
In July we will cover the CERT Unit 1: Disaster Preparedness curriculum. July training will take place at the Knox County Health Department (140 Dameron Ave)
Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) teaches participants about hazards that could affect our community, how to prepare for them and how to help your family, neighbors, or coworkers in the immediate aftermath of an emergency, before responders arrive.
CERT is a nationally supported initiative hosted by the Knoxville-Knox County Emergency
Management Agency (KEMA) in partnership with local emergency response agencies. The Knox County CERT program is focused on personal preparedness training for disasters and connecting people with local volunteer agencies for response opportunities.
CERT is free to community members and takes place 6:30-9:00 PM the first Tuesday of each month in most cases.
