Our transportation IS NOT based on business hours; a ride is provided when a volunteer is available.
“It’s More than Just a Ride.” - provide transportation, a listening ear and support a senior in need!
We are seeking volunteer drivers to transport Knox County seniors and people with disabilities. Help a senior with door-through-door transportation assistance to the grocery store, medical appointments, and other fun activities. Volunteers use program vehicles (and gas!) to assist people who might otherwise not be able to leave their homes.
Stay with the client, support and help them at destinations and back to their residence.
- FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AVAILABLE via a GOOGLE CALENDAR link
- WEEKDAY and WEEKEND NEEDS- and some late afternoons as well
- VEHICLES PROVIDED as well as the fuel and routine maintenance.
